Willy Wonka Christmas Mint Circle Card

This card was created for the latest challenge at the Burtonesque Dolls (see link below).  I have to say this was a fun one!  For research I re-watched both Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (i.e. the one with Gene Wilder) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (i.e. the one with Johnny Depp). I used Mad About You from Tiddly Inks.  You can find him here.  He is actually the Mad Hatter but I thought he looked a little like the Gene Wilder version of Willy Wonka!

I plan to enter this card in the following challenge:
theburtonesquedolls.blogspot.com-Got Candy/Willy Wonka
tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com-Ribbon Twist
daisydoodlescreativechallenges.blogspot.com-Anything Goes/Digital Image

I colored my digital image with Prismacolor pencils and gamasol.  I cut two circles out of white Bazzill cardstock using my Cricket.  For the front piece I took my liquid glue and starting at roughly the center made a spiral out from the middle of the card.  I then added the fuzzy red ribbon very carefully to the glue!  While that dried I created the title using my computer and a font called Ravie.  I printed it out on purple cardstock and matted it on green.  I used a little studio g letter set to stamp new at the front of the title and then using foam adhesive to the card.  I attached the two pieces of my card together with a brad.  This was my daughter's brilliant idea-so when you open it it just rolls up and doesn't fold or hurt the card!  I cut out Willy Wonka and used more foam adhesive to add him to the card, cover the brad.  The I took green tissue paper and made the sides of the candy wrapper!  I figure this will work for a Christmas Card for a nearby relative or friend.  This baby's not going through the mail!!!
