Only You Card

I knew that I wanted to use this beautiful image from Tiddly Inks to create an oriental themed card.  (The image is called chi and you can find it here).  I have seen people use patterned paper to paper-piece clothing.  But I wanted something really unique. So I used a oriental floral stamp from an old Close to My Heart Stamp set to make a pattern on her dress.  I colored the dress using my Copic Sketch markers and then created a mask around her dress-then I stamped with versamark and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I also embossed the chopsticks in her hair to match!  I used a gold leaf pen to color in her shawl.  I put the card together using the Tiddly Inks Challenge Sketch (shown below).

  5. LOVING what you did with the dress for sure. Not just paper piecing but masking and heat embossing..............wonderful! Sweet & simple sketch as well. Perfect creation.
