Just Saying Hello Card

For this card I knew I wanted to use a butterfly-it was tough to choose (Somehow I own several butterfly stamps!) but I ended up using one from an old Stampin Up collection.

Inspiration Photo-Off The Wall Craftiness

I colored my pretty lil' butterfly with Prismacolor Pencils, blended it with my blending pencil and gamasol,  waited for it to dry and cut the it out.  I added crystal stickles and while it dried I put together the rest of the card to match the sketch above.  I used some Bazzill Cardstock and some coordinating patterned paper by Three Yellow Bicycles that matched my color scheme perfectly!

I used a Magnolia Doo-Hickey's Die (Old Swedish Lace) to cut the border on the patterned paper and a Nestibiliites Scalloped Circle.  I stamped my sentiment (from hero arts) and inked and distressed all the layers.  Finally I added the butterfly using foam tape, two flowers with buttons and string bows.  (Just a note-I couldn't find any grey flowers in my stash so I used the back side of some Prima flowers...Can you believe the other side is glittery bright blue!)
