Sketch #57-Tuesday Morning Sketches

Good Morning!

Had a lot of last night working on a couple of cards!  First up is my Happy Millie Thank you card.  This card was so much fun to make.  As soon as I saw this image of Millie at Karber Digital Images, I knew what the sentiment would be immediately.  I can just picture her jumping up and down excitedly-Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!  Now I can wait to receive a present that makes this happy!  So I can use the Thank you card of course.  You know...I have a birthday coming up...

I colored Millie with my Copic Sketch Markers (R24/22/20, E57/55/53/50/000/00/11, and 0).  I added a copic colored pearl to the flower in her hair and added Crystal Stickles to her head-band, pockets and the lace on the edge of her dress.  I created the journaling tag using and old font I have on my computer by Creating Keepsakes (CK-handprint), printed it out on pink patterned paper and turned it into a tag using the Making Memories Tag Maker.  I embossed my bright pink patterned paper with the Sizziz Damask #4 Embossing Folder in my cuddlebug and then distressed the top and inked the sides with distress inks and paper stain.  I did the same to my cardstock base.  I added a ribbon and following the sketch at tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com I backed my Thank You tag with a round paper flower and put four flowers together with a light pink brad.  Then I cut Millie out, backed her on patterned paper and matted it with Doodlebug Glitter paper.  Voila-Done!
