Flower Cards

These cards were inspired by a challenge by Card Positioning Systems.  I used some digital flower stamps I found through Free Digital Stamps on Friday through the Rusty Pickle.  All of the digis are now free!

I made the Daffodils Card first and I ended up loving it so much I immediately made another!  I plan to make a few more for a card set-Just need to get more of this shade of kraft paper!  I'm thinking maybe purple hydrangeas and something in blue...

I plan to enter these cards into the following Challenges:
cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com-Sketch
daisydoodlescreativechallenges.blogspot.com-Keep it Simple
craftycardmakers.blogspot.com-Clean and Simple

I really enjoyed the challenge of making something simple.  I have to admit I usually create cards with lots of layers and techniques...  It was amazing how easy these cards were to create.  I just printed out my flower image on to Kraft paper that I cut down to letter size.  Then I cut out the card and rounded the corners.  I colored the flowers using my prismacolor pencils and a blender.  I stamped my sentiment and then added a little crystal stickles to the inside of the flowers for a little extra oomph!  Here's a close-up...
