Bunny Christmas Card

I am a little embarrassed to admit that I didn't send out Christmas Cards last year.  I know...I know...a crafter like me.  Sometimes I am on top of things and sometimes not!  This year, though, will be different!  Behold my very first Christmas Card!  I used a cute digi stamp from The Greeting Farm called Snowball Fight.  You can find it here.

I plan to enter this card in the following contests:
sweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.com-Just a Note/Notecards
mytimetocraftchallenge.blogspot.com-Jeweled
stampandcreateblog.blogspot.com -Pearls & Gems

After cutting a circle around my image, I colored it with Copic Sketch Markers (B00/12/16, BV00/4, C1/3/5, E50/41/40 and R20) and added white flocking and glitter to both the fuzzy areas (like the girl bunny's hat and the boy bunny's tail) and the snow.  I cut a scalloped circle from lavender cardstock (to match the base of the card) with my Nestabilities and after inking and distressing each-I used the scalloped circle to matte the image.  I embossed  the blue cardstock using my cuddlebug and snowflake folder and cut the paper in half.  I inked and distressed each layer before adhering it to the page.  I used an old Theresa Collins-notecard journaling spot and stamped a sentiment from Inkadoo that I felt matched the spirit of the image!  Hee-hee!  Then finally I cut out three snowflakes using my Seasons Slice Cardtridge and covered them with glitter.  I put a gemstone in the center of each snowflake!  Tadah-my first Christmas Card is done!  Let's not talk about how many more I have to go....
